Brittany Kanto

Brittany Kanto is a groomer in Puyallup Washington at Spotted Dog Pet Grooming. She specializes in hand stripping. Being one of the few groomers in the Puget Sound offering this specialized service, Brittany’s goal is to pass on her knowledge to groomers who will continue the tradition of this lost art form.

Brittany is currently a Zolitta ambassador. She is certified in Non-Sporting & Terriers, and a Division C competitive groomer.

Heather Blomquist

Heather Blomquist started grooming 33 years ago at the age of 16. After working at a couple of salons and 11 years as a veterinary groomer, she opened Spotted Dog Pet Grooming in Puyallup 6 years ago and then a second location in Bonney Lake last year. She earned her NCMG 2 years ago and is one of the founding members of WAPPG.

Karen Wagoner

Karen J Wagoner has been grooming since 2014.  Starting her training at Maser’s Academy of Fine Grooming, to study the basics of grooming, she then trained one on one in New Jersey under a very experienced mobile groomer.  Karen has done continuing education in not just the art of grooming, but the science of coats and skin and the handling of difficult dogs.  She is the owner of Kitsap Mobile Grooming and in 2019 was awarded The Best of North Kitsap, The Best of Central Kitsap and The Best of South Kitsap Reader’s Choice Awards in the grooming category.  She also owns Silverdale Pet Grooming.  Karen has management and business experience before pursuing her passion of working with animals.

Susy Scott

Susy Scott is best known as the creator & co-host of The GroomPod, an award winning weekly podcast for groomers.  Over the six year life of the show, the podcast has educated, entertained, supported and touched thousands of pet groomers.  Susy is a Certified Master Groomer with  23 years experience in veterinary clinic and mobile grooming.  Affectionately known as Susy the Groomer”, she is a prominent fixture in northwest grooming circles, and was the founder of the first professional groomers’ association in the region.  Heralded for her fearlessness, Susy’s main hobby is roller coaster riding and her specialty in grooming is handling difficult pets.  She is adeptly equipped to guide us on the roller coaster ride of pet grooming business.  Her own personal zoo has included parrots, chickens, horses, rats, cats, and a husband.

Tami Vornbrock

Tami Vornbrock started training and showing dogs at the age of 15, and her first jobs were working in the pet care field. In 1996 she graduated from Grooming school and has owned her own grooming business since 2006. She has achieved her ICMG with International Pet Groomers, NCMG with National Dog Groomers Association of America, is a Certified Canine Esthetician, and earned her Pet Groomer Credential from World Pet Association. This is the first standardized test available to groomers.
