Delise Knight

Delise Knight’s remarkable career in the pet industry spans over 45 years, and her journey is a testament to her passion for people, animals, innovation, and the artistry of pet grooming. Starting in a pet shop and showing Borzois, Delise’s early experiences ignited her love for animals and laid the foundation for her future endeavors.

Her close partnership with a veterinarian led to the creation of a groundbreaking business model—combining a veterinary clinic, grooming salon, and pet store all in one location. This idea was revolutionary at the time and eventually became the template for major chains like Petco and PetSmart, forever changing the way pet owners accessed services for their animals.

Delise’s love for grooming goes beyond just a job; it became a true passion, particularly the transformation and artistic elements that come with it. Her commitment to excellence and her deep care for the animals and people she worked with were always at the heart of her work, ensuring that every aspect of her career was approached with kindness and love.

Recognizing the power of accessories to elevate a pet’s look and a business’s brand, Delise founded Bardel Bows, a company dedicated to providing high-quality pet accessories. She understood that these small details could make a huge impact, both for pet owners and businesses in the pet industry.

Today, Delise shares her wealth of knowledge and experience through consulting. Her legacy continues to inspire those who value compassion, creativity, and innovation.
