The Pet Tech® Instructor Training is a comprehensive, 40+ hour program that includes online modules and hands-on instruction. Instructors will learn the necessary skills and teaching techniques to properly train Pet Parents and Pet Care Professionals in CPR, First Aid and Care. This course will include competent training in the identification and evaluation of the signs and symptoms a pet may develop and the appropriate actions to be taken for proper emergency medical treatment. The course is taught by presentation, demonstration and hands-on skills practice.

Binngo was a 9 year-old Maltese with a known heart condition. His veterinarian cleared him for grooming. But he had a heart attack on my grooming table and died later at the vet’s office. Even though I had taken a pet first aid class 6 years prior, I didn’t remember what to do.

It was probably the most helpless I’ve ever felt in my grooming career. The next day I began looking for local pet first aid classes. I couldn’t find a single one and none of the upcoming trade shows were offering them either.

By chance, there was an upcoming instructor training class about 2 hours south of me. I knew that I didn’t want other groomers to feel the way I did that day and I overcame my fear of speaking in public and signed up.

13 years and thousands of students later, I’m here to help you learn how to save a pet!

Pet Tech Is A Business Opportunity As Well As A Life Changing Program

You will have access to a personalized profile page where you can set up your classes wherever and whenever you want. Within a few guidelines, you set the pricing for your classes and NO portion of that class fee is paid back to Pet Tech® Corporate. There is no limit to how many times a year you can teach and we don’t assign territories.

As a licensee you are required to teach the Pet Tech® standards and guidelines we train and you will be authorized to utilize the program when teaching your classes. We keep our rules to a minimum in order to allow you to get out and teach and at the same time making sure our program is consistently taught worldwide to current standards.

In order to maintain the Pet Tech® standardization, each student must receive a PetSaver™ Packet. You pay a yearly Licensee Membership fee of $175 and teach at least two classes a year with a minimum of 6 students.

We know you will probably teach more but we keep that requirement low as some Instructors are just training staff.

What To Expect

➡️ Once payment in full is received, you are now in Pet Tech’s system. It will generate a welcome, as well as any other important information email.

➡️ You will be directed to pay the yearly dues of $175.

➡️ Once paid, you will have access to the online pre-training videos.
