Amy Hendren

Amy Hendren started her grooming career in 2007. She went from a shop to mobile to owning her own mobile business and now has a shop at home. Diving into learning, she acquired her CPAe through Iv San Bernard, stays CPR certified, and is working on finishing her Master’s certification through NDGAA. She also shows her two wire fox terriers and is an award-winning competition groomer, including a Best in Show in 2023 and First Place Intermediate in 2024. Amy owns Ch. Jo-Li’s Revenge for Gwenllian ATT. She is working on her GCH and finishing her male Walter as well.

Heather Hudson

Heather has been a professional groomer since 2009. She owned her salon, StylaPet Dog Spa, for 12  years in New Lenox, IL, before transitioning to working full-time as a product consultant and educator for Iv San Bernard USA. She is also a Nationally Certified Master Groomer through the National Dog Groomers Association of America and a Certified Pet Aesthetician through the Iv San Bernard training program. Heather has taught many seminars and private lessons over the years, and in 2019, she traveled across the sea to teach at the Iv San Bernard Mega Show in Empoli, Italy. She strongly focuses on terriers and wire-coated dogs and has shown her Lakeland Terriers in the dog show and grooming competition ring with much success. 

Katherine Roldan

Katherine Roldan is thrilled to introduce you to the world of Soft Coated Wheaten Terriers. Katherine has been an avid participant in the breed since 2019 when she acquired her female “Bean.” They have had many exciting times together, not limited to BIS, at the 2023 Charm City Grooming Competition. As well as a Best of Opposite in confirmation at the American Kennel Club dog show held in Orlando, FL. A crowning achievement for this duo was the Grand Champion Select at none other than the Westminster Kennel Club dog show. Having mentored under some of the top Terrier handlers and show groomers in the country, Katherine has come to appreciate the finer points of presenting Wheaten Terriers. From stepping into this world as a beginner like many of you in 2011, Katherine now owns her own successful grooming shop and actively breeding Soft Coated Wheaten Terriers. She has a unique and rare knowledge of competition and show grooming, which she is overjoyed to share with you of a breed she loves so dearly!

Loren Mesquita

Loren Mesquita is the distinguished owner and master groomer at Canine Couture Expert Grooming, a beacon of grooming excellence in the Delmarva area. Certified by the National Dog Grooming Association of America, Loren stands out as the only master groomer with this certification in Delaware. She brings over two decades of dedicated grooming experience to her clients.

In 2017, Loren transformed her extensive grooming expertise into a thriving business by founding Canine Couture Expert Grooming. Her entrepreneurial spirit and relentless pursuit of excellence have propelled her salon’s growth and earned her numerous accolades. Loren has consistently excelled in competitive grooming throughout her career, securing multiple first-place awards for Best in Show and Best in Class at major U.S. competitions.

Loren’s grooming skills were finely honed under the mentorship of Sally Hawks, a pet industry pioneer known for her hand stripping expertise. Additionally, Loren had the privilege of working alongside Margery Good, a world-renowned terrier handler, at multiple dog shows, gaining invaluable experience and insights.

Beyond her grooming prowess, Loren has evolved into a social media guru, seamlessly integrating competition grooming with impactful marketing and content creation. Her innovative approach to social media has made her a sought-after figure in the industry, culminating in an invitation to be a guest speaker at Colin Taylor’s International Grooming Conference in the UK in September 2024.

Manessa Donovan

I graduated from the Florida Institute of Animal Arts in 2010 and attained my National Certified Master Groomer title through the NDGAA in 2013. Specializing in hand stripping, I’ve honed my skills under the guidance of industry leaders such as Irina Pinkusevich, Lisa Leady, and the late Julie Ostoski. Since 2014, I’ve dedicated myself to sharing my expertise as a grooming instructor at various schools, culminating in my role as the Director of Education at the Woof Gang Academy of Grooming. As an award-winning open-level grooming competitor, I’ve consistently demonstrated my passion and commitment to excellence. My expertise extends to breeding and grooming wire fox terriers, earning recognition for my work in preparing terriers for AKC dog shows. In April 2024, I launched the Hand Stripping Directory at coarsecoats.com to connect handstrip groomers with clients.

Shannon Tupes

Shannon Tupes is a Certified Master Groomer and has been actively involved in the pet industry for over 25 years. She is a member of Groom Team USA, a current board member of Groom Team USA, and a national and international judge, speaker, and global educator for Andis. Shannon has actively been involved in showing dogs her entire life. She is a successful breeder, owner, and handler of Bichons under the kennel prefix Releve’.

Teri DiMarino

Teri DiMarino ICMG, NCMG, ISCCMS, PGC ` An industry veteran, Teri has owned and operated successful salons and mobiles in Florida and California. An award-winning grooming contest competitor Teri was a member of three GroomTeam USA Gold Medal teams and held the positions of GroomTeam USA Treasurer and Board Member. Teri is the recipient of multiple Barkleigh Honors and Cardinal Crystal Awards for Journalism, Judge, Groomer of the Year and Outstanding Contributions to the Industry and is also the recipient of the American Kennel Club’s Leadership Award. She is a Co-founder and President of the California Professional Pet Groomers Association, Inc

Teri is a popular speaker and judge at seminars and trade shows around the globe. She recently served on the Task Committee for the WPA Professional Groomer Credentialing and contributed to the writing of the PPGSA Standards of Care, Safety, and Sanitation. Co-founder, past-president, and show chair of the Boca Raton Dog Club in Florida, Teri’s dog show career included Dobermans, Tibetan Terriers, and Standard Poodles in the breed and obedience ring. 

Teri continues to work in the industry and still enjoys grooming in her private salon. She shares her home with her husband, Jeff, and two Standard Poodles.
